Education

I received a BA in Cognitive Neuroscience from Harvard University in 2002. Since graduating from college, I've decided to pursue an MD, so I am entering the Bryn Mawr Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program in the fall of 2005.

Academic and Research Interests

I work at the Sackler Institute for Developmental Psychobiology studying literacy and numeracy with Dr. Bruce McCandliss. My undergraduate thesis advisor was Professor Elizabeth Spelke, and I did my research in her Laboratory for Developmental Studies. Before that, I worked in Professor Marc Hauser's Primate Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory. My interests include reading and attention development and remediation, brain-based education, infant cognitive development, and neuroendocrinology.
